Little Seeds House, is a community boarding house we are building in Zanskar Valley which addresses an urgent need. In the remote Himalayan mountain regions of Ladakh, local schools rarely function and residential accommodation is scarce. Many parents are too poor to send their daughters and sons to boarding school in the capital Leh. Dubbed the ‘‘The World’s Toughest Walk to School‘, for many of our sponsored children, the dangerous commute along the Ice River is the only way to school in Leh when it resumes after the Winter break ….
Since 2008, the Lille Fro Foundation has made it possible for children from one of the remotest regions on the planet go to school, take advantage of work opportunities and break free from the cycle of inter-generational poverty.
